Artist Statement We are always adding new images to the library, and currently have a collection of around 1000 images which we need to sort and upload over the coming weeks. We have a special interest in images of animals and in prints of ancient places and archaeology, and hope to focus on these areas over the coming months.

Copyright has expired on all images we select, and we pay special attention not only to the age of the original print, but also the publishing location and, when available, the original artist in order to ensure the image is in the public domain.

All prints are photographed from the original source using high-resolution cameras (12MP or more), and then cleaned and fixed individually using Photoshop. We hope that by restoring these images and offering them to you as fine art prints, we can breath new life into beautiful artwork which would be normally lost, forgotten or simply too difficult or expensive to obtain.
