Artist Statement I grew up in the mid-west, Kansas and Missouri, and moved to the northwest in mid-1990s and I've been here ever since. I've spent a lot of time with a camera. Usually, it's rolling around in the back of my truck or under the front seat. Sometimes I get a wild hair and decide to shoot some pictures.

I bird hunt and fly-fish whenever I get the chance.

If I had to classify my shooting style, I'd call it photojournalistic. I don't invest too much time manipulating an image with lighting techniques or digital alterations after the snap. Instead, I like to catch images as they appear and let others mold them into their own story.
