Description'It's necessary to take risks, and to follow certain paths whilst abandoning others. No one is able to choose without fear.' - Paulo Coelho - This photo was taken on the Mediterranean coast Var, France. A number of years ago when I was learning to walk these coastal paths I was at first almost paralyzed with fear ... having grown up in a very, very flat area of the USA I had never hiked mountains. So in time I learned to move with grace and ease amongst these places. To some these cliffs and mountains are gentle climbs .... yet to me they have been a significant piece of my spiritual journey ... this making peace with the mountains.
