Artist Statement I am a self-taught artist currently residing in Maryland. While I have never had formal training, I am enamored with the visual arts (especially depictions of the human face and form). I began painting with acrylics in 2004 on a whim, never even having drawn a picture. I found the experience cathartic and exhilarating, so I kept at it.

Because I am a "student" of the arts and of techniques I would appreciate any feedback and/or constructive criticism as I am constantly trying to become a better artist.
