Artist Statement I have been painting ever since I can remember. Mainly self taught, I gleened a lot of knowledge and technique from my artist mother. I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Animal Science which has helped me to achieve the degree of accuracy and detail in my animal work. The knowledge of anatomy and breed specifics as well as habitats and enviorments has served me well with pet and livestock portraits and wildlife paintings. I also enjoy doing area landscapes and stunning floral paintings.
