Description An unlikely duo, perhaps? Not in a fine art print! Lilacs and onion blooms go together like...well, like peanut butter and jelly. One complements the other. Combined with texture and a gentle once-over painting with a Wacom digital tablet, the results are striking and very soft and dreamy.
Bonnie Bruno, Albany, OR Member Since February 2013 Artist Statement I photograph the natural world as I see it, by exploring textures, vibrant colors, and interesting patterns. So much of our amazing world goes unnoticed in the daily rush. My photography leans heavily toward florals, landscapes, and seascapes. Some of my photos lead me a step further, combining 5-7 original images into dreamy montages.
I also work in the realm of digital art, creating typographical works to inspire, motivate, or humor, as well as contemporary abstracts.
My work has been purchased by art collectors, interior designers, home stagers, non-profit agencies, and for display in hospital rooms, as well as licensed for faith-based retail stores.
