Description Magdalen College (pronounced maud-lin) is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford in England. Regarded by some as one of the most beautiful of the Oxford and Cambridge colleges, Magdalen stands next to the River Cherwell and has within its grounds a deer park and Addison's Walk. This courtyard is part of the Cloister or Great Quad and was built in 1474-80. C.S. Lewis tutored here, and other members of the college include Oscar Wilde, William Tyndale, and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Michelle Lambert Member Since March 2010 Artist Statement My photography attempts to combine my love of traveling and photography by capturing the essence of different cultures and their unique beauty. Each country I have visited has its own mannerisms, architecture, and color of life. It is these differences that so fascinate me, and I can not help but get excited whenever I get to capture these differences on film... or more currently, on digital film. I have been to Ireland, Scotland, Italy, France, and Germany, and lived in England with my husband for a time. It is our hope that we can one day live there again. How I miss being able to hop on RyanAir and go to Paris for the weekend!
