Description Oil painting of the seaport and lighthouse at Mystic, CT circa 1968. My mother actually started this painting at 78 while battling lymphoma. She had the sky done and the buildings underpainted, and asked me to finish this before she passed. You'll see her name and mine on this one.
Rich Summers Art, Meridian, Idaho Member Since January 2009 Artist Statement My grandfather and mother both oil painted, and I guess I just followed in their footsteps. I paint with oils the most, but on occasion use acrylics.
I paint landscapes and wildlife the most, but have done a few other things as special projects for friends and family. You might also find a photograph I've taken now and then.
You'll find a mix of my landscape, wildlife art and photography.
Should you find an image you like, they are available to purchase as greetings cards and prints.
