DescriptionOtters are semi-aquatic (or in one case aquatic) fish-eating mammals. The otter subfamily Lutrinae forms part of the family Mustelidae, which also includes weasels, polecats, badgers, as well as others. With twelve species in seven genera, otters have an almost worldwide distribution. They mainly eat aquatic animals, predominantly fish and shellfish, but also other invertebrates, amphibians, birds and small mammals.
Ian Jeffrey, Tring Member Since December 2010 Artist Statement I was Born in Scotland now living in the Chilterns - Hertfordshire. I started photography in the good old days of film and darkroom technology about 30 years ago, but have now moved on to the new digital age of photography.
As a photographer, I realise that all art is subjective and therefore I don’t expect for one single moment that everyone who browses through my images will feel the same way about them as I do. Even so, I hope that you enjoy the small collection of images that I have put together on this website, and I thank you for your support and encouragement.
Photography & Image Manipulation is something I could never get bored with.
I hope you enjoy my images.
Mail me if you would like to see any of my images converted to B/W, Sepia or Toned, I will then upload the relevant converted image or images that you have requested.
