Description This is a photograph of a three hundred year old house in Tuscany. I had attended a painting workshop in the farmhouse for several weeks. But curiously I found myself more attracted to the building, an aging work of art that peered at me whenever I ventured outdoors. I put down my brushes and slung Max (my camera) around my neck.
Virginia Annette Jenkins Member Since November 2009 Artist Statement I have lived in Japan for almost twenty years and in this time my eyes opened. I aim for photographs that capture the soul inside things. I also shoot portraits, landscapes, abstracts, anything that leaves me with the desire to keep looking.
Many of my photographs were taken in Japan and other parts of Asia.
