Artist Statement I am an attorney on permanent sabbatical from practicing law to pursue my career full-time as a contemporary figurative and abstract artist. My works have been exhibited in galleries across North America. My art combines traditional portraiture with cutting-edge design and avante-garde composition in producing provocative paintings. My primarily female subjects are often shown in an abstract or semi-abstract realm. The anxiety wrought by contemporary media is a major subject of my works. I am heavily influenced by the the attractive, unattractive and and often humorous components of our contemporary urban culture.
