Artist Statement I am an artist and teacher currently residing in Huntington, West Virginia. I teach art processes to elementary age children and try to instill in them a passion for creating and learning.

I earned a Bachelor of Art degree in Art Education from Marshall University in 2005. It was during my years in college that I first discovered my love of photography. When I snapped my first photograph with an old Pentax SLR I had borrowed from my cousin, I was hooked and knew that I had to further explore how I could capture the world all around me.

I've been capturing my world ever since.
