Description The Original Sign from the Eagle and Child Pub in Oxford, England. The Inklings, including C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien, would meet at this pub regularly to discuss their writings. The Inklins fondly called the pub 'The Bird and Baby.' The sign now hangs in C.S. Lewis' home on Kiln Lane.
Michelle Lambert Member Since March 2010 Artist Statement My photography attempts to combine my love of traveling and photography by capturing the essence of different cultures and their unique beauty. Each country I have visited has its own mannerisms, architecture, and color of life. It is these differences that so fascinate me, and I can not help but get excited whenever I get to capture these differences on film... or more currently, on digital film. I have been to Ireland, Scotland, Italy, France, and Germany, and lived in England with my husband for a time. It is our hope that we can one day live there again. How I miss being able to hop on RyanAir and go to Paris for the weekend!
