Description I couldn't believe how beautiful these images came out from a picture of a tree. The different shades of green in the leaves made for some contrast. As always with my work look closer to see the full impact of the image.

Artist Statement My galleries are not what they seem. I take pictures of everyday objects and tranform them into works of art. So a gallery named cats won't have cute pictures of my cat Sassy, instead you will see textures and elements of the cat picture transformed into the images you see.

I have always been drawn to symmetry. When I eat candies I eat two of each color at a time - two reds, then two greens, etc. When I'm at a salad bar I put cucumber slices around the outer edge of my plate then a circle of tomatoes inside that, etc. My husband thinks I'm crazy since I'm just going to eat it anyway. But I just want it to look nice on my plate.

I have played with many art forms. I started with Polymer clay, tried a pottery class and have dabbled with painting. I have always been drawn to the vario patterns of Italian Pottery. I was going to try to paint patterns like this (not an easy task). Then I discovered digital art and I was hooked. I have always had this deep need to do something creative. I finally found an outlet that lets me do that. The starting photographs are taken by me. The art that comes from there just takes shape. I love the symmetry and the textures that come out in some of the works. Make sure you look closely to see the textures.

Imagine having one of these images in your home or office. It looks like just a nice pattern from a distance. It's not until you get closer up to the image that you will see the details of flowers, or animals or the fiery red sky of a sunset. All images are high resolution for the print sizes available. They would like nice in a home or office. I hope you enjoy them.
