Description An impressionistic image of oak leaves illuminated by early fall sunshine combined with a garland digitally made up of variations on the same image reduced in scale and reflected for symmetry.
Paul Wyszkowski, DC Member Since December 2006 Artist Statement I was born in Poland, before WWII and arrived on these shores in 1948 (it's a long story). After I paid my dues to the society as a materials engineer I went back to my first love - discovering and inventing images. The ninth exhibition of my inventions and discoveries, "Feeding the Minds Eye IX: Delighting in the Gift of Vision", was held on May 17, 2008 in Bethesda, MD. Next exhibition is tentatively scheduled for November 2009 (For details please write me at firstname.lastname@example.org).
I am one of those people who are in love with the world. Yes, the world is challenging and even dangerous but I don't believe it's out to get me. And while there may be grounds for disputing the intelligence of its design, its artistry is beyond question. I am here not to conquer it but to enjoy it and to share my wonder with you through my art. My intention is to delight your eye and provide a playground for your mind. Enjoy!
NOTE: My various galleries here at imagekind are currently still under construction, so please check for new additions and revisions as time goes by. Eventually all my images will be displayed here and new ones will be added as they are created.
