Artist Statement I suppose I've always had an interest in photography. I can remember pestering my grandmother to let me use her old Polaroid at the age of 5. I never did much with my interest until August of 2007, when I finally purchased my first "real" camera: a Canon Digital Rebel XTi. A few weeks later, while in the middle of editing a batch of photos, I realized that this is what I want to do with my life. Though I realized it suddenly, the passion that I have for photography has been with me nearly all my life. It just took me some time to find it.
