Artist Statement Painting with acrylics on canvas I employ a drybrush, smooth layering, process creating the illusion of texture and depth. I study patterns both visual and experiential. By incorporating specific patterns into my work I examine my own patterns of thought and behavior. Through the inclusion of figurative and natural elements I apply these patterns to the human condition.
