Artist Statement I love to create, and I'm passionate about oil painting. My paintings reflect my love of fresh produce from farmers markets and walks through nature. When I see gorgeous vegetables in dazzling colors, I feel inspired to capture that energetic radiance through art. That's what prompted me to create the gourds and the peppers in my series. I try to capture the beauty and vitality of these natural objects.
