Description A Zen proverb states that, A mountain is beautiful for no one to see. In other words, we should focus less on the outside and more on our inner beauty. This is a digital watercolor, airbrushed picture of a mountain that conveys the simplicity and emptiness of Zen.
Yol Swan - Yoga Designs, North Carolina - USA Member Since July 2008 Artist Statement I have been involved with art and the creative process since childhood, in one way or another. From a drawing to a web site to a home, I like to bring a sense of balance and color to every aspect of my work.
I started creating mixed media and 3-dimensional collages since I was a young girl, and I still think that collages have been the theme of my life. In fact, to me, life is nothing but a collage of experiences and lessons glued together by destiny and karma.
I also like to play with digital artwork and graphic design, and now I design gemstone jewelry, too. I like to use sacred symbols and combine colors based on color therapy to bring healing energy to others, and my jewelry also integrates the healing properties of gemstones and colors.
