Description This interesting abstract piece includes acrylic paint over bubble wrap, beach sand, glitter, and tissue paper; all used to create depth and texture.
Karen Kaster Member Since June 2013 Artist Statement I began drawing as a young girl in a small town in Ohio. I am a self-taught artist and I love color, design, and texture. I now live in New Mexico and am inspired by the amazing sky, the watermelon-colored mountains, and the brilliant wildflowers that grow in the desert. I work with pastels and watercolors. I also use acrylics on canvas using texture to create depth and tactile curiosity. Thanks for checking out what I love to do!
