Artist Statement I grew up in Texas and have always drawn, painted ,or designed something. I went to Graduate school in Firenze ,Italia where I first fell in love with Italian frescoes.After living in Italy I worked designing store windows and interiors for two different companies. When I got bored with that I opened an early Eco design
store in 1994 with a fellow artist at an old hotel from 1905 in Dallas,Texas. We created and sold eco friendly merchandise.We designed interiors and started painting custom decorative finishes on walls and murals for clients.This eventually led to the closing of our store and moving into the creative business of decorative painting for homes and commercial sites. I moved to Florida and worked in some of the most elaborate mansions in South Florida.Now I'm expanding my work to this gallery along with designing t-shirts on sageduds.com and www.zazzle.com/sageworksart.
