Artist Statement I love painting,using watercolors ,acrylics, papers and embellishments to of put into form how I see a particular object. Taking a white piece of paper and turning it into something real. Something that that might open the eyes of another to see in a way they never have before. Maybe opening their eyes to hidden parts so they too can begin to feel whole again. Because for me creating a work of art brings me closer to who I am at my core. This is no small thing. Ive been struggling with this for over ten years now. I am finally coming back to the me I had lost. Its through my art this is happening and if I can help just one person get in touch with a part of their self they too have lost then maybe I will have found my purpose. Then my gift will be their gift and what could be better than that.
