Artist Statement Hi, I've been an amateur photographer for a few years now. It started in high school dwindled in college and came back to life after graduating. I've always loved the arts and they have always been a huge part of my life. I take pictures of what I think is pretty or different or interesting. Like a writer, I photograph what I know. I love flowers, the beach, black and white pictures, cupcakes, and anything girly. I also photograph muscians and capturing those moments that can't be duplicated. I'm never without a camera and frequently annoy my family by taking millions of pictures a day. I'm an avid scrapbooker so all those pictures are necessary! I dabble in graphic design and have my bachelor's degree in marketing. One day, just maybe, I'll put that East Carolina degree to work!
