Artist Statement It's a shame I spent all that money on law school, because what I really love is travel. There is no place on earth that I do not want to see. The world is full of images too fine to be believed. My photography is my attempt to show you what I see -- all the heartbreakingly beautiful detail. I work for a non-profit doing free legal work for poor people in crisis. I love what I do, but it hurts most days. Photography reminds me that there is an endless supply of beauty to counteract the pain I feel for my clients. It reminds me to look closely for the face of God in every snail shell and cracked sidewalk. I find it is always there when I do.
