Artist Statement Welcome, I hope you enjoy viewing my Art!

Growing up in Indonesia & Holland, I have always been fascinated and interested by Fine Art and many other Artistic expressions. I have painted & schetched since I was very young.
My mother was an Artist and I have learned a great deal from her flair for creating art & her zeal for living life.
After coming to the USA in the late fifties, I became a foreign car mechanic for over 25 years in the San Francisco Bay area, and in Soulsbyville in the Sierra mountains of California. (but as a Dutch-Indo artist Art was always my first love)

The Artistic Hippie culture in San Francisco was a great era to have experienced first hand, and I still draw on those crazy days for my painting and my designs.

So most of my life I have been an Artist, painting on canvas or anything I could find, and creating free-form art in wood & metal and in many other media. I like vivid colors and sharp contrasts in my creations.
I also love to shoot photographs of the great landscapes up here in the Pacific North-West, and just paint this beautiful world that God created & that I see & experience around me each day.
