Artist Statement My interest in photography developed during my teenage years and I had my first formal class my senior year of high school at Greenville’s Fine Arts Center. Four years later I graduated from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC where I was an art major with an emphasis in photography. I spent the summer after college traveling Europe and taking a graduate photography class based in London, England.

After college I worked in the commercial photography field for more than five years, and learned a great deal from many talented photographers. Currently I am working as a freelance photographer focusing on commercial, portrait and fine art photography.
