Artist Statement Trained as a Graphic Designer, I worked my way up through the ranks of advertising agencies in Colorado and San Francisco, CA. I have been a painter and photographer since college, about 20 years. While working as a Creative Director in Vail Colorado and then in San Francisco, I had directed several photo shoots, I had wondered how it would be to work behind the lens.

While in San Francisco, my wife and I had child and I decided to leave the agency life and pursue my love of photography, while being a full time father to my child. I will be selling my fine art photography here at artist|rising, whilst shooting commercially for my advertising clients.
