Artist Statement I was originally born in Lima, Peru in 1982 as "Fiorella Lombardi". I lived in Tacna, Peru for over 16 years.
In 1998 I moved to Genova, Italy with plans of staying in the old continent to pursue a career. After 6 months of contact with my Italian roots, I decided that the United States seemed like a better place to explore my career further and to get the latest and greatest of everything.
That's how in December 1999, I moved to Miami, Fl and began attending the last year of High School there.
After graduation, I began to attend college at Miami Dade Community College and then transferred to the University of Central Florida to finish a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Technology.
I have been into art for as long as I can remember. My father had and still has made great efforts to teach me as much as he knows and tsupport me and give me the courage to continue in my search for a deeper understanding of what art truly means. Throughout the last 5 or 7 years, I have taken many art classes, including drawing, paintings, design, color theory, etc. although my career is not directly linked to my passion, I make a point to try to use it as often as possible.
