Artist Statement Rekindeled my photographer bug after I injuered my self playing roller derby. Hanging out at the bouts not doing a whole lot I noticed that there weren't alot of photographers there. So I started bringing my camera and shooting. Now I carry my camera everywhere I go.

I enjoy shooting at all kinds of events, nature, sports, cooking demos.

My photography philosphy is that the picture is capturering a moment in time that shouldn't be changed. When photography started there was no editing, the subjects had to sit and be still for long time periods (hence no smiles..have you sat for 5 minutes and didn't move one single inch? hard to do ). I prefer my subjects to feel free to move and show their natural personality traits as stuborn as they may be. My shoots are fun and relaxed for all involved, most of the time I prefer to have the people focus on something besides me pointing a camera at them forcing a pose.
