Artist Statement Sarah Lynn Decker, a graduate from the University of Scranton, is a nature and wildlife photographer residing in northern New Jersey. She has entered the “Photography in Sussex County” exhibit at the New Jersey State Fair for the past eight years and has won eight ribbons. Sarah has had photographs published in the Fall 2008 and Spring 2010 editions of Esprit, a publication by the University of Scranton. Sarah won the 2010 Esprit Art & Photography award for her photograph “Glass House”. She has also had two of her photographs published in the book by the New Jersey Herald titled “Bear with Us”. In 2009, Sarah had five photographs featured in the “Urban Nature” exhibit and two photographs featured in the “In Color” exhibits at the Hope Horn Gallery at the University of Scranton and had work exhibited at the judicial center court house in Newton, New Jersey. Her work has also been used as references by nationally renowned wildlife artist, Carol Decker, in her paintings and pen and ink drawings. (http://www.caroldeckerwildlifeartstudio.com/)
