Description I was on an outdoor portrait shoot in Maldon Essex when this picture came into view - the moon high in the sky with trees in the foreground and a 'wintry feel' - how could you not take a photo of it?

Artist Statement I am a keen amateur photographer and together with my daughter Rachel we decided to set up a web site to develop our interests in picture photography and related areas such as weddings and portrait photography.

In my day job I am a property lawyer. I work in Hadleigh Suffolk.

My interest really began a few years ago when I started taking photos for use in a calendar for marketing purposes. People liked what they saw and I have not stopped since!

I have been fortunate to be able capture some fantastic images around the world from places such as Barbados, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Egypt. I have recently returned from a trip to New York and a cruise around the Caribbean on Queen Mary 2. We had to come home as my camera needed a rest!!

That having been said England also has some wonderful places which are very often overlooked (look at the image Scarlet Sky in my Gallery -this was taken by me in Hadleigh, Suffolk driving home one night).
