Artist Statement In the third grade I learned I had some talent drawing when a substitute teacher actually spanked me for my drawing of a sperm whale as she was convinced that only a professional could have made it.

Graduating Sherman Union High School in 1982, I attended Beloit College in Wisconsin, where I furthered my art education, having my first solo show, "Lines on Paper," in 1985.

I moved to San Diego in 1987 and in a few years I found work animating a Marvel Comics property, "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes," a Saturday Morning kids show. When that show ended I began drawing caricatures at special events, entertaining at resorts and country clubs in Southern California from Beverly Hills to Palm Desert to the Hotel Del Coronado here in San Diego. It's a great way to make a living, making people of all ages laugh out loud!

During all these years, I've been steadily adding to my fine art and photography which I've gathered here to share. There's something for everyone in my portfolio, I think. Have fun!
