Artist Statement In the past I have expressed myself through painting. I still enjoy painting quite a bit but have found a new love in photography. It is exciting to be able to show people moments and images as I see them and remember them. The opportunity to convey a feeling through a picture is very exciting. To me the beauty of photography is that 1,000 people can photograph the same object and have a different perspective. After all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

My love of travel (local and abroad) gives me great subjects for my photos. Interestingly enough, so does my mother's hair salon. Enjoy!
