Artist Statement I am an artist working in Glasgow, Scotland. Inspired by the city and its people, I work mainly in acrylic and watercolour, with the occasional detour into mixed media.

Pubs and clubs, city nightlife are favourite subjects often feature in the paintings. The river Clyde and its changing colours and moods are also constant source of inspiration to me. My recent figurative work has been inspired by the themes of "possibilities" and "transformation".

Artistic influences: The Impressionists: Degas, Cezanne, Van Gogh, the Glasgow Boys, Whistler, Frida Khalo, Jock McFadyen.
David Hockney, Lucian Freud, Peter Howson, Jack Vettriano, Stephen Campbell.
