Artist Statement Dan Freund grew up in Chicago, and developed a fascination with photography at the age of 12. Years of black and white photography and a childhood spent “living” in the darkroom, awakened a lifelong pursuit exploring art, architecture and modernism. His photography has been reinvigorated by digital photography and his extensive travels in search of the world’s great Architecture.

Dan Freund is a California Architect with a wide range of completed design projects including restaurants, retail, offices, hotels, health clubs and Residential. His product designs have been exhibited at the Skirball Museum Los Angeles, the Spertus Museum of Chicago, and the Petroff Gallery of Toronto. He is available for commissions in Architecture, interiors, furniture, steel sculpture and product design
