Artist Statement Diana S Martin has been a professional artist for over 35 years, she started creating (she first drew paper dolls) at the age of 4 and began to sell her work in her teens ,she has been a full time artist ever since then.
Through out her career her artwork has been featured in dozens of magazine and newspaper articles and has accumulated awards and honorable mentions in numerous art shows.
MOST of her paintings are acrylic on canvas but she works in any media when she is inspired!
Diana has studied privately under some of the worlds Masters and at one time earlier in her career became an award winning airbrush artist and also has enjoyed being involved in stage and costume design for over 9 years.
****Diana is inspired by any form of art and has put her hand to jewelry design,sculpture and wood working as well.
Diana spends most of her days in her studio and her Wildlife, nature and figurative PAINTING is at the top of her favorite list. It is never work, it is in her soul to create.
