Artist Statement As a kid I spent a lot of time looking at the animals and plants in the outback of Australia. No TV and very little to read, I took my dog and horse and followed the wind to find undiscovered treasures on my family farm. Today I am far removed from that beginning. Living in Seattle with my own family I seek new sights. I like to think of my captured moments as exotic butterflies that I'll set free. I treasure life's moments and am always on the look out for the opportunity to capture an image that compels me. I feel the images I take have a story to tell about their own life, I'm just the caretaker of that moment. I hope that my images will not only inspire and delight you, but that they ask you to question them frequently. Take care and happy moments...
