Artist Statement I live and work in Budapest Hungary, though I was born in the UK. As an artist, I am mainly self-taught and it was always the aim to let images and impressions from within come more or less spontaneously. For me, the whole process has always represented a kind of 'soul work.' The following publications and catalogues are intended to showcase my work in book form: http://www.blurb.com/user/nexus7

In November 3020 I was invited for a solo exhibition in Orfű Hungary, though due to the pandemic there was to be no exhibition opening. Instead there was a finissage event at the beginning of June 2021.

In 2018 I exhibited at the Corinthia Hotel Gallery and at the APA Atelier Gallery at Horánszky Utca 9 in a group exhibition, comprised of a life drawing group.

In 2017 I exhibited recent artworks at tjeJaschik Álmos Művészeti Iskola.

In 2016 there was a solo exhibition at the Kredenc Bistro via the Memo group, soon after I took part in a group exhibition showing life drawing works at Gallery 48, Váci Utca, Budapest. In 2014 I exhibited at the Müszi in Budapest.

From 2009 to 2011, I exhibited regularly via a local organisation of artists, called Arteon.hu whilest in June 2009 I had a solo exhibition at the Mansfeld Galéria at Csepel, Budapest.

I currently exhibit pieces, alongside smaller compositions on card, on show at The Corinthia hotel Gallery and at the Jancsó Galéria at Kazinszky Utca 30 Budapest Hungary.
I also have one and a few much smaller works at Mester Utca 22 Budapest, Hungary - this is the headquarters of the Intergaléria society that has also organised the exhibition mentioned here.

I am also working towards the deadline set by the Sketchbook Project, to hand in not one, but two, sketchbooks, to be taken on travelling tours, but also with a permanent home at the Brooklyn Gallery - here is a link to digitised images from my first two books:

Whilst in Coventry England in the late 80's early 90s, I exhibited regularly with an assorted group of artists called the 'Dream Illustrators' based near the city centre, as well as putting on solo exhibitons. I also lived in Brighton from 1994-1996 and exhibited with a gallery called the Bear Cave.
I now exhibit regularly via a local organisation of artists, called Arteon.hu

I work mainly with mixed-media pieces on board using an array of material ranging from glass fragments, fabric pieces and wax. I am fascinated by materials that reflect and use a lot of golds, silvers and luminescents against matt backgrounds.

There are two series of abstract coloured drawings shown here: some are current, whilst others are part of a series I completed in the early 90's.

I am also open to any requests for any particular design that is seen and liked on my website.

I also make mixed-media paper collages, again, usually in A4 size. In these, I tend to employ a bastardised marbling technique for the background and then work into each composition using ink pen, gel pens, metal flakes and fragments of other paper, or materials with either holographic or luminescent surfaces.

I have also designed a full colour 78-deck of Tarot cards, which has been published in a limited edition my Adam Mc Clean and is also available at The Gamecrafter: https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/the-chalice-tarot-deck Please check out the Tarot section on my website as shown here for more information about these.
