Description Ruby-throated hummingbirds are so charming when they take a moment to sit and relax. A male (the one with the red throat) and a female are perched on the stems of lilies enjoying the morning light. Around them rays of sun shine down through the wispy clouds of the cerulean blue sky. Its a whimsical illustration, perfect for any bird lover.The original image is a digital collage. A drawing (colored pencil on bristol) was scanned into Photoshop where it was manipulated with color fills and combined with one of my photos. Since the original image is digital, the only physical form in which it exists is as a print.
