Artist Statement I was born in St Andrews Fife Scotland and self taught. Introduced to photography by my father at a very young age using his box brownie camera and developing my first black and white film at the age of eleven. Things have moved on a bit from then, with pixels and what not! However, the passion has never changed and I still find myself spending every wakened moment seeking potential photographic images in just about everything I look at.

Winning the Shell Expro Awards in 2005 and Exhibiting throughout the uk. Influences have been many, in particular a love of portrait photographers from the 1940 and 1950 eras as well as a love of the painted picture. With this in mind it is not
surprising that it has often been said that my
work has the feel of an artist painting a picture.

Please do look over my work leaving a comment
if you wish.

Also please take advantage of the framing options available to you.

FRAMING TIPS: TRY adding a second Mat/Mount to the framed photograph, this gives it a real quality look and enhances focus on the image. OR try framing without a Mat/Mount sometimes the photograph projects itself better just being framed.
A LITTLE TIME SPENT ON THE FRAMING OPTIONS IS WELL WORTH IT
