Artist Statement Don Curtis began photographing professionally in the spring of 2004 with a local soccer league and a pet salon as his clients. His good work ethic and his beautiful portraits led to many more opportunities with his only advertising being the recommendations of his satisfied customers.

While he continues to be a pet and sports photographer, his experience has grown to include many more types of portraits taken on location with his mobile studio equipment.

His business is located in West Jefferson County, and he continues his photography education at Samford University in Birmingham. He lives with his wife, Lynne, four children and three dogs in Dora, Alabama.
