Artist Statement My photographs are mainly based on my dreams. The vocabulary in my work references different cultures, history, nature, religion, architecture, and landscapes. My photographic process consists of layering multiple images, and manipulating the negative itself by drawing on or scratching into it, to achieve the desired effect in the darkroom.

I always know what I want to achieve, but the finished work always takes a life of its own and goes far beyond my greatest expectations.
