Artist Statement Hello, fellow art lovers and artists. I live in small town America...in Ohio. Either the blazing hot or freezing cold Midwest. After a trip to Maui this past spring I am ready to move there. But I guess most of us would love to move to Hawaii.

I've been dabbling in art my whole life. I'm in no way 'the world's greatest', but I enjoy playing. I'm really beginning to push myself in the digital photography field. Remember the days when we had to wait DAYS to see if our pictures turned out? Or we had to wait weeks or months to finish a roll of film? Now we can snap to our heart's content with immediate results.

I have worked in acrylic, pastel, charcoal, pencil and am beginning to do some collage. I've had greeting card ideas bought by Hallmark and Gibson Greetings.

My 'real' job is in our local library. And I better mention my dog Sophie who is happily serving as my avatar (because she is WAY more photogenic). She's a papillon and seriously loves to model for me.
