Artist Statement I am an amateur photographer & avid bird lover. I live in the beautiful southern piedmont of NC, a few hours away from the mountains.
I take mostly photos of my feathered friends who visit my yard on a daily basis. I love being outdoors and taking in the beauty of every day life.
I have a wide variety of birds that visit ona daily basis.
Cardinals, Titmice, Chickadees, Nuthatches, Juncos, Chipping, Song & House Sparrows, House & Gold Finches, Mourning Doves, Robins, Brown Thrashers, Eastern Bluebirds, Blue Jays and the occasional visit from a few gorgeous Hawks.

I use a Sony DSC-H2. 6 megapixel with a 12 x optical zoom.
I am looking to upgrade to a Canon DSLR soon.
All of my bird friends are pretty trusting of me so I'm able to get really close and do get some decent shots every once and a while.
