Artist Statement I've always been fascinated by what great photographers see....what they capture and how they share it...and i've become obsessed with doing the same...although i remember groaning throughout my grandfather's slide shows, featuring petal and bloom after blossom and pistol, i think i am now hooked...i think that we miss so many things just in living our lives each day, and i hope to offer you a second chance to stop and take a second look at that flower, or the wave hitting the beach, or the sunset on a cool winter's eve, and really see your world...I worked 40 plus hours, raised three young children, somewhat on my own, and worried about weather my accent tables matched my sheers, but a recent change in my health and mobility has caused me to slow down and learn to prioritize....and take that second look...and yes, sometimes i wished i had done it earlier...so now i share these moments and the amazement of nature and humanity with others ...i don't create the moments i only capture them to save and to share...
