Bio

While I was born in New Mexico, I raised primarily in Texas and have lived most of my life in the great City of Austin. I managed galleries In NM, Taos and Santa Fe, where I was around artists all the time. I was watched the landscape, colors, and magical light in Northern NM. I came back to Texas to manage a gallery in Austin in the '80's.

For years I took my creative side and used it in landscaping, but have been painting since 2004 with a group of artists called the “Escape Artists”. We paint weekly together as well as travel and do workshops. I also paint at home in my studio on a high hill southwest of Austin in the Texas Hill Country.

I work primarily in oil painting but I also make fused glass which I love. I have a BFA with a major in painting and minor in ceramics.
