Artist Statement I got my fine art degree in 1977 from san diego state university. I started working as a full time artist in late 2003 after a serious illness nearly killed me and made me realize what i needed to do and what my passion really is.
deceased family members are very important to me. i feel a certain connection instead of loss. I try to capture their personality from mere family snapshots - yet by using atmosphere, mood and color, i hope to portray them as spiritual beings caught in eternity doing something that was wholly down to earth and true their own personalities.
Many of my fans are readers who know my published work. My art and articles have published over 60 times since 2006. Most of my work appeared in various Somerset Studio magazines.
