Description An aged saguaro cactus shows its strength. The first arm appeared within 50 to 100 years and it can reach its full height in 200 years. With pleated stems expanding to hold moisture the saguaro can store up to 1,500 gallons of water. HIghly protected, saguaros are treasures in the Arizona desert.
Joanne Netland Member Since May 2007 Artist Statement IS IT A PHOTOGRAPH OR A PAINTING?
Much of my work involves photographing with Polaroid film that I hand-manipulate with tools or transfer by hand onto watercolor paper to create a painterly effect. These serve as originals for giclee prints on the paper you select or printing on canvas. You can go further and choose the mat, glaze and frame making this a truly personal expression. Considering the price and quality of workmanship that Imagekind provides this could be a rewarding experience for you or your client.
