Artist Statement Diane Berni - My Mother, my best friend, an amazing woman and a wonderful artist. My home is as a gallery filled with moments and memories that she captured for me. I opened this online gallery in her honor so that I could continue to share the beauty she created.



Though she did not consider herself a true artist, she willingly shared her talent with all those who knew her. From the time when I was a little girl she was continuously creating something: drawing on T-shirts, making stained glass windows, etching or painting. Our home was always (and still is) decorated with her works.



My strong and brave Mother fought breast cancer valiantly for ten years. Even though she no longer graces our world; she will live on forever in our hearts, our minds, and thanks to her art, our homes.



I will be donating a percentage of all proceeds to the "Diane and Stephen Berni Cancer Research Fund" that my parents started in order to help find a cure for this terrible disease.
