Artist Statement My name is Christian Perello. I have always been a dreamer. Always thinking about art, whatever it may be. I always knew that there was something that I was meant to do. When I was younger, I tried my hand at drawing. I was good in the way that if I was looking at a drawing I could duplicate it no problem. But to design something on my own, I found that rather hard. You see, I seem to have this problem when it comes to concentrating on something for long periods of time. So drawing things from my mind were kind of hard..... Well, not so long ago I was introduced into the world of photography through my wife. By that I mean that she had bought me a Kodak ZD710. At that time I didn't really understand all that went into photography. But the more pictures I took, the more facinated I became with it. It seemed that I had an eye for catching the certain moment, or getting that perfect angle. When ever I took a photo, it seemed that I was capturing a shot that told a story. Whether I meant to or not, that is what happened. After getting comments, not just from friends and family, but from strangers, I new that I had found my calling. I noticed, that when ever I went anywhere I was starting to look at things differently. I was looking at things in a very artistic way.
